PA COVID-19 Unemployment Claims

If you are employed in Pennsylvania and are unable to work because of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19), you may be eligible for Unemployment or Workers\\’ Compensation benefits. The Department of Labor & Industry will continue to provide important employment benefit updates as the situation evolves.

COVID-19 Working Capital Access Program (CWCA)

  • Provide loans of $100,000 or less to for-profit businesses with 100 or fewer full-time employee.
  • Created under Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority’s (PIDA) Small Business First Fund.

Bucks County COVID-19 Emergency Economic Rapid Response Loan Program

  • Provides 0% interest loans, up to $8,000, for businesses in hospitality or travel
  • Term loan up to 36 months
  • No payments due for first 120 days

U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Economic Injury Disaster Loans

  • Up to $2 million in assistance
  • Interest rate is 3.75% for small businesses without credit available elsewhere; businesses with credit available elsewhere are not eligible
  • Interest rate is 2.75% for non-profits

Trenton Small Business Fiscal Relief Program

  • 60-month (5-year) repayment term
  • No payments and 0% interest for the first year
  • 2% interest amortized over the remaining term of the loan (48 months)

Pharmaceutical Assistance Contract for the Elderly (PACE) program

  • Provides refill extensions for older adults.
  • PACE will now reimburse refills even if the program participants haven’t used 75% of their supply.
