Joseph Williams, 19, and Gary Goddard, 48, are charged in connection with a double homicide on Friday night in Bristol Township.
Two 19-year-olds, Zyisean McDuffle and Tommy Ballard, were fatally shot following a confrontation on the 900 block of Elmhurst Ave. around 7 p.m. The argument was between a third person, Jahmier Wilson, 23, and Williams.
After Williams pulled a gun and shot at Wison multiple times, Goddard opened fire too. As Wilson ran away, Williams hit a home with two bullets where four people and a 3-year-old were inside, according to reports.
During this, Goddard shot McDuffle, and then repeatedly after he fell to the ground, the affidavit read. He is charged with criminal homicide and possessing an instrument of crime.
Witnesses say they could hear Goddard calling to his son to follow him. The two took off in a black SUV, while Williams ran with two other males down Weston Ave. toward Winder Drive.
McDuffie was pronounced dead at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, and Ballard died soon after arriving.
Williams was arrested Saturday morning on attempted criminal homicide and related crimes. His bail was set at 10 percent cash of $750,000. Magisterial District Judge Leonard J. Brow ordered Goddard be held without bail.
A preliminary hearing has been tentatively scheduled for both men on May 16.
Police are yet to charge anyone with Ballard’s death.
