A man is in critical condition after a shooting at the intersection of North Olds Boulevard and Lincoln Highway in Falls Township Tuesday.

A Falls Township detective discovered the victim shot in the neck at about 3 p.m. He was found in a vehicle off to the side of Lincoln Highway.

Police initially detained possible suspects, but released them after conducting interviews. Investigators determined they were not involved in the shooting.

Then authorities received info about another possible suspect running from the scene who stopped at a home to use their phone.

Witnesses described this individual as a thin, light-skinned black male. He was not wearing a shirt and had on black pants.

A New Jersey State Police helicopter and multiple K-9 units were dispatched for the search but to no avail.

Authorities say they have identified the shooter’s vehicle. A low resolution photo of the car is available, though it is difficult to discern the make or model.

Police say the shooter may have discarded their handgun. If someone finds it, they say to not touch it and instead call 911.
