Bucks County has entered the yellow phase of the governor’s reopening plan, and state liquor stores are reopening too.

31 Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores will allow customers inside their retail locations. Customers will be able to peruse the shelves instead of placing orders online and waiting for curbside pickup.

As a result of the ongoing pandemic, the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board has changed some policies.

First, both customers and employees must wear masks when inside any Fine Wine & Good Spirits location. They must also practice social distancing and follow signage throughout the store.

Another policy limits the number of customers allowed in a store at one time to 25. This may change to a smaller limit for smaller locations.

Additionally, the first hour of each day is reserved for people vulnerable to COVID-19. This mostly applies to individuals 65 years of age and older.

The PLCB has also installed Plexiglas at all registers to separate employees and customers.

Anyone curious whether a specific location has reopened can check on the Fine Wine & Good Spirits locator here.

Other new mitigation efforts, directly from the PLCB, include:

  • Signage will direct customers to follow one-way patterns to avoid cross-traffic and encourage them to refrain from touching products unless they intend to buy them.
  • Store employees will perform enhanced and frequent cleaning and disinfecting, and store hours will be modified to ensure appropriate time for cleaning and restocking.
  • All sales are final, and no returns will be accepted until further notice.
