Speak MY Piece: Minneapolis Police

The only thing we should focus on is the death of George Floyd who died after he was pinned to the ground by a Minneapolis policeman — who pressed his knee on Floyd’s neck for about nine minutes.

Floyd, a security guard in a local club, died shortly afterwards in the hospital. Reportedly, he was unconscious when taken away by ambulance.

Almost as shocking were the actions of three other police officers who stood silently by as a crowd begged and shouted on Floyd’s behalf. “He can’t breathe,” they yelled, again and again.

My question is simple. What was Cop #1 thinking as he knelt there, his hand casually in his pocket, and what went through the minds of the other non-intervening policemen as they witnessed a murder?

Policemen #1,#2,#3,#4 were fired immediately, and Minneapolis burned that night.
