Two separate roads with unrelated construction projects are continuing to cause traffic delays in Lower Bucks County.

The two unrelated road projects will be under single-lane travel restrictions between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. this week. One job is a short-term fix on Stony Hill Road near Elbow Lane in Morrisville, and the other single-lane schedule is on New Falls Road near Fallsington-Tullytown Road in Levittown.

According to Tom Dickens, Project Foreman for the Stony Hill Road construction, workers hope to finish within the next two-and-a-half days.

Also, according to Jose Torres, Project Foreman for the New Falls Road Project, lane restrictions will be in effect for approximately the next two weeks.

Dickens’ crew is working on necessary improvements to Stony Hill Road after a past project required crews to tap into a gas main and dig across the road.

“We’re back replacing and restoring the state highway,” Dickens said. “And then when it’s all done, it’ll be back to the state specs of which they need, and we’re good to go.”

Torres and his crew are working to install water, gas, sewer, electric, stormwater and utility infrastructure for new condominiums.

Drivers are encouraged to allow extra time for travel.
