Update June 9: The Falls Township Police have confirmed victim Nancy Amoroso, 86, passed away at Jefferson Bucks Hospital.

Amoroso, of Morrisville, was driving south on Hood Boulevard. She apparently suffered a “medical emergency” at 7:48 a.m. and lost control of her vehicle.

The 2017 Nissan Sentra crossed the yellow line and collided with a parked car. Hood Blvd reopened shortly before 1 p.m. Tuesday.

A potentially fatal crash in Falls Township may detour traffic around Pennsbury High School for a few hours Tuesday morning.

Officers at the scene had limited information, but said it could involve an older woman.

One vehicle driving on Hood Boulevard collided with a parked car shortly before 8 a.m. It appears the parked car, which belongs to a student, was unoccupied.

Police have closed off the road between Queen Anne Drive and Fairhurst Road. The scene is still under investigation and police say it could be several hours before they reopen Hood Boulevard.

The Falls Township Police are expected to reveal more details after completing their investigation of the scene.
