A Bensalem Township man is in custody after allegedly attempting to sell a loaded AR-Style weapon and fleeing from police.
Officers working with the FBI learned a convicted felon planned to sell the firearm for $1,500. While conducting surveillance, they reported seeing Patrick Gale, 34, loading a large duffel bag into his car Tuesday.

Detectives followed Gale’s Saturn Vue and tried to pull him over to conduct a traffic stop near the Street Road and I-95 interchange. The Bensalem man allegedly fled.
During the pursuit, police say Gale hit three other cars, including a police vehicle. At one point, he threw the duffel bag out of the window.
Shortly thereafter, he crashed and ran on foot. Police quickly nabbed Gale and recovered the duffel bag. It allegedly contained the rifle, loaded with 16 live rounds.
Gale will remain in Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of $400,000 bail.
