Check your cabinets because Pepperidge Farm has voluntarily recalled four varieties of their Goldfish crackers due to possible Salmonella in the seasoning.
The four flavors include:
- Flavor Blasted Xtra Cheddar
- Flavor Blasted Sour Cream & Onion
- Goldfish Baked with Whole Grain Xtra Cheddar
- Goldfish Mix Xtra Cheddar + Pretzel
The company released a list of packages with specific information that may contain Salmonella. There have been no reported illnesses at this time. Although the crackers were sold across the country.
According to NJ.com, Pepperidge Farm requested the investigation “out of an abundance of caution.”
Those who purchased a contaminated package should not eat them and throw them away or return them for a refund. Customers may also contact Pepperidge Farm for a refund, Customer Service is 24 hours at 800-679-1791.
Signs of a Salmonella infection include nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps, diarrhea, fever, chills, headaches and/or blood in the stool.
