On Friday, Dec. 15, the Pennsbury girls’ basketball team will be hosting their annual “Coaches Vs Cancer” at the high school’s east campus. The middle school basketball showcase will give all proceeds to the American Cancer Society.

Three Pennsbury middle schools will participate, as well as one from Central Bucks School District. The public is invited to attend to help raise money.

The first girls game will start at 6:15 p.m. featuring Pennwood Middle School versus William Penn Middle School. The second girls game will start at 7:45 p.m. featuring Charles Boehm Middle School versus Tohickon Middle School from Doylestown.

Concessions and raffle tickets will be sold. The winner of the raffle will be given a chance to take a half-court shot between games and win prizes.

Tickets are $1 for students and $2 for adults. All donations will be accepted and proceeds from the night will go to the local chapter of the American Cancer Society in the name of “Coaches Vs Cancer.”
