The Pennsbury School Board has selected its newest director.
After Thursday night’s meeting, former School Director Linda Palsky is rejoining the board and will be the ninth member.
Palsky fills a spot vacated by Christian Schwartz, who resigned this time last month. She will sit on the board until the seat’s term is up in November 2021.
Palsky previously served from 1999 to 2011 and has filled the roles of President and Vice President.
During her time, Palsky helped with two searches for superintendents, experience that may prove useful as Superintendent Dr. William Gretzula is retiring next year.
Gretzula welcomed Palsky to her new position.
“On behalf of the administrative team, we look forward to partnering with Ms. Palsky, as well as the entire Board, to successfully accomplish the District’s ongoing goals and strategies.”
