One person is dead and more are injured after a shooting at an apartment complex in Morrisville Tuesday night.

Gunfire broke out at about 9:30 p.m. at the Commons at Fallsington.

The Falls Township Police say an 18-year-old man was shot in the chest and pronounced dead at Lower Bucks Hospital. Three other juveniles were shot as well and are being treated at Jefferson Bucks Hospital.

Police say they found one vehicle at Jefferson Bucks used to transport some of the victims. Meantime, another vehicle was found on Plaza Boulevard about a mile away from the apartment complex with several bullet holes.

Detectives stayed in the area for several hours combing the area for evidence. Police say there is no threat to public safety.

Authorities believe the shooting was “a result of a dispute between two groups of people.”

The death means it is now an active homicide investigation. Anyone with information can reach out to Sergeant Ray Fanelli at 215-949-9100 ext. 366.
