Some local roads with have restrictions next week between the Route 63 and Route 413 in Bristol, there will be interchanges for construction projects to repair and resurface 13 miles of I-95 and I-295 in Bensalem, Bristol, Middletown and Lower Makefield townships. The work will be Monday through Friday of this week from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., on northbound I-95 and eastbound I-295 between the Route 132 (Street Road) and Route 413 (Bristol) interchanges.
The same schedule is in affect this week on northbound I-95 and eastbound I-295 between the Route 63 (Woodhaven Road) and Route 413 (Bristol) interchanges for a dam bridge installation.
There will be single lane restrictions on northbound and southbound I-95 between the Academy Road and Pennsylvania Turnpike interchanges this Monday through Friday from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
These are all efforts by PennDOT to work on many things, including pave roads that are not smooth, and put in installing new guide rail, repairing or replacing damaged traffic signs and much more.
In Langhorne, there will be road closures and parking restrictions on Saturday, October 27th for Olde Langhorne Harvest Day. There will be no parking allowed on Maple Avenue between Hill Ave and Pine St (Route 413) as well as on Bellevue Avenue between Richardson Ave & Watson.
There will also be no parking on parts of Richardson Ave from Green street to Pine Street in order to keep traffic to a minimum. These restrictions will be from 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. until the event is concluded. During this same time Maple Avenue will be closed to traffic from Route 413 (Pine St) to Green St. Bellevue Avenue will be closed from Richardson Ave to Watson Ave.
Langhorne Borough asks that folks cooperate with police and volunteers to help the event go smoothly, roads will open shortly after 4 p.m. when the event is over and it is safe to open the roads.
