A man who broke into a home in Bristol Township in the nude and then assaulted a sleeping woman will spend up to 18 years behind bars.
Anthony Clayborn, 30, was found wearing only a towel on the street after an evening of illicit activities.
The Bristol man admitted to being high on meth when he broke into or attempted to break into three properties last April.
In one instance, a woman woke up to see Clayborn standing over her at 1 a.m., according to authorities. When she awoke, he punched her in the face and ran. The blow knocked out one of her teeth.
Prosecutors initially accused Clayborn of sexually assaulting the woman. However, he did not plead guilty to any charges related to these accusations.
Earlier the same evening, he approached a different woman, calling her “mommy.” His nakedness left him vulnerable to a jab from her umbrella and he ran.
Clayborn was also sentenced for a separate incident for exposing himself at a local Wawa while high on meth.
Ultimately, Clayborn pleaded guilty to charges of burglary, criminal trespass, indecent exposure, prowling at night, and simple assault. He will spend between seven and 18 years in state prison.
