There’s a new police officer with the Middletown Township Police Department who has tight ties to the local community.

Chief Joe Bartorilla introduced Robert Osinski at Monday night’s Board of Supervisors meeting before the swearing-in ceremony.

“Robert Osinski was born and raised in Northeast Philadelphia and is a graduate of Archbishop Ryan High School,” Bartorilla said. “After graduating he attended Bucks County Community College and then moved on to Temple University.”

Supervisor Chairman Tom Tosti swore in Osinski in front of a packed room. Bartorilla gave the new officer a warm welcome to the township.

“Bob has lived in Bucks County for the last twelve years in Warrington. He graduated from Montgomery Police Academy in June, 2018,” Bartorilla continued. “We are happy to have him as the newest member of the Middletown Township Police Department.”

While Osinski is the newest member of the force, he is not alone as a fresh face. Officer Dan Heyduk joined the department this past July.
