New Jersey’s Department of Environmental Protection has closed several beaches due to high bacteria levels discovered Wednesday.
The list dropped from 15 beaches to seven as of Thursday afternoon. Cape May, Monmouth and Ocean Counties have no current closures, but once were apart of the bacteria concern.
Atlantic County remains the sole area of attention due to illegal water quality standards.
The following beaches are still closed in Atlantic County:
Ventnor City Missouri
Atlantic City North Carolina
Atlantic City Pennsylvania
Atlantic City Montgomery Ave.
Atlantic City Bartram
Atlantic City Annapolis Ave.
Atlantic City Georgia
