A fire shortly after midnight Tuesday morning has left one home’s occupants without a home, including their pets.

The Levittown Fire Co. 1 dispatched to the Pinewood section of Levittown at 12:08 a.m. to find the front of the home up in flames. Multiple other departments arrived on scene to “quickly” control the blaze, according to Fire Marshal Richard Dippolito.

Fortunately, both people inside the home, plus two dogs and three cats made it out safely.

While the fire began in the front, it spread to the attic. The home is now completely uninhabitable, with its front framework charred.

Investigators are still working to determine the cause. The same house caught fire in 2014.

The Fairless Hills, Tullytown, and Falls Fire Companies all responded to the scene. Additionally, the Levittown/Fairless Hills Rescue Squad was ready to assist.
