Middletown township is offering free online exercise programs for Zumba and Beginning Yoga starting Tuesday.

The classes are designed for people who find it difficult to work out outside and maintain social distancing at the same time.

There’s no microphone or camera needed, just a screen to see the class and speakers to hear. Those who do have a mic or webcam should turn them off.

These programs are night classes held Tuesdays and Thursdays and last one hour each. Carol Garner will host Beginning Yoga at 6 p.m., and Carolyn Mann will host Zumba at 7:15 p.m.

“We hope to be able to get back to offering our programs at the Barn & Community Center soon, but in the meantime please enjoy our online programs,” said the Middletown Township Parks & Recreation Department.

Middletown Parks and Rec will be using GoToMeeting for each class. No registration is required. People who want to participant only need to click the link below a few minutes before the class starts.

It may ask to download an app or plugin. Middletown Parks & Rec says participants should follow the instructions.

Middletown is also asking for feedback, which can be emailed to pgraham@middletownbucks.org.
