Middletown Township is once again partnering with Inspire Federal Credit Union and the Oxford Valley Mall to bring awareness to shredding paper, with the latest installment of “Shred of Identity Theft” event.
Millions of Americans throughout the United States are victims to identity theft, which is responsible for the loss of billions of dollars from those citizens. One of the best ways to protect against theft is to shred important documents that could reveal information for thieves such as account numbers, passwords, and social security numbers.
While shredding papers can be time consuming during a busy schedule, the event will be a great place to start shredding. The Fall Shred Event will be on September 29th from 9 a.m. to noon in the Oxford Valley Mall parking lot located at 2300 East Lincoln Highway Langhorne.
Residents may bring up to three file boxes for the trucks to shred.
