Middletown Township is offering a series of courses to educate its residents. The township’s Citizen Summer School program will consist of three courses to educate Middletown residents on internet safety, sustainability, and energy conservation.

The first of a series of three workshops will take place on June 28 at 4:30 p.m. This particular course will focus on Internet privacy and security. The township is aiming to help local senior citizens avoid online scams and identity theft with this particular course.

The second course offered by Middletown Township’s Citizen Summer School will focus on sustainability. The class aims to help residents of all ages learn how to help the environment and community by recycling. The sustainability workshop will be on July 26 at 6:30 p.m.

A workshop on energy efficiency will be offered by the township on August 16 at 6:30 p.m. People of all ages are welcome to attend this course and learn about how to reduce the amount energy they use. The course aims to help the environment, while helping Middletown Township residents save money on their electric bills.

The workshops are free to Middletown residents and will have expert speakers. The township will provide informative guides to attendees of the workshops. Childcare services will also be included during the workshops. The educational courses will be held in the Municipal Center, located at 3 Municipal Way in Langhorne.
