Wrightstown Township wrapped up its 71st annual Middletown Grange Fair Sunday night. From Aug. 14 to 18, people from all over Bucks County and beyond came out to participate in the yearly fair to send off the summer.
Beginning in 1948, the Grange Fair sought out to advocate for local agriculture and the community. For 71 years, the grange fair evolved into a county wide tradition for farmers, families, veterans, and everyone in between.
Fair-goers enjoyed local food and treats, amusement rides, live music and performances, animal exhibits, horse drawn wagon rides, and much more. The fair held animal demonstrations, and even hosted a hot dog pig race. The traditional ‘chicken dinner’ was served up to hungry fair-goers, who look forward to the event every year.
