The Middletown Grange Fair is once again cancelling its festivities due to the ongoing pandemic.

Known for its animal exhibits, rides, live music, and traditional chicken dinner, the fair went strong for 71 years. But the last one was held in August 2019.

In an update from organizers, they say there is a lack of clear guidance from the government. They don’t have the finances to prepare for an event that could be axed at any time.

“While improving, the continued uncertainty of the pandemic leaves us in a position that threatens to compromise the foundation we have worked hard to establish.”

The good news is they have released the dates for next year’s Grange Fair in Wrightstown. It starts August 17, 2022.
