A Sunoco gas station set the stage for a Warminster man’s dramatic display Monday morning as he threw items around the store while employees hid in the bathroom.

Warminster Township police responded to a call of disorderly conduct at 9:38 a.m. when they came upon Mohnad Ayman Baali, 20, who was in a rage and refused to exit the store, located at 890 East Street Road.

When confronted, Baali began screaming unintelligibly and ran towards the employee’s hiding place. Police tried to subdue the man, but he responded with punches, headbutts, and spit.

Baali suffered no injuries while officers only received minor injuries. There were no customers in the Sunoco during the incident.

Baali is now in custody and is being held in Bucks County Correctional Facility on $750,000 bail. He is charged with Aggravated Assault on Police on top of related charges.
