Lower Southampton and Middletown are set to host their annual 4th of July Parades.
The parade begins at 1 p.m. and will start at Second Street and Feasterville Pike. In typical fashion, the parade will feature multiple string bands, entertainers, area groups and organizations and much more.
The Feasterville Business Association is the lead sponsor and designated this year’s theme as “America’s Spirits Are High On the 4th of July.” and the rain date is Jul. 6.
Local and visiting firefighters, antique and classic cars, federal, state and local officials will all be a part of the parading. There will also be fun and festive activities such as baby and bicycle competitions.
Middletown’s 8th annual Independence Day Parade will begin at 9 a.m. at Veterans Park in Levittown. The parade will make its way down Trenton Road before coming to an end at Twin Oaks Park. There will be plenty of marchers, entertainers and floats to cheer on as everyone celebrates Independence Day.
Middletown Township also just announced a specially designated Snapchat filter for its July 4th parade. It’s the perfect way to spread a little holiday joy to friends and family.
