Lower Bucks Hospital’s new CEO Michael Motte is making rounds to talk about a new Community Health Center coming this August. He joined WBCB for an extended interview Thursday to discuss the hospital’s future in serving the community and treating addiction.

Motte says the new facility will be better than urgent care.

“The beauty of this is that you’ll be able to come in, be treated, then in addition any of those services – radiology, physical therapy, respiratory – all those services are going to be at the facility,” Motte said.

While urgent care is standalone, the Community Health Center gives access to the rest of the hospital for $38.

“And that’s $38 for both the doc and the facility,” Motte added. “What we’re hoping is that not only will we be able to take care of our community, but you’re going to come to our facility, get used to coming here, and we’re always going to be your community hospital of choice.”
