PennDOT announced late this morning Lincoln Highway is getting some much needed pothole relief starting next week and the work is going to last through the end of the month.

This project will focus on the three mile section of Business Route 1 between South Bucks Town Road in Middletown and Tyburn Road in Falls.

Crews will work during the day from Monday April 5th through Friday, April 30th.

They’ll be imposing lane closures in both directions weekdays 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for saw cutting and patching operations.

When it’s all done, the highway should have brand new asphalt for a smoother ride.

Reporting Potholes:

While PennDOT addresses Lincoln Highway, locals have noticed many other potholes popping up.

To report potholes on state roads, residents can submit a form to the PennDOT Customer Care Center. Alternatively, they can call 1-800-FIX-ROAD.

There is also an option for Middletown Township residents who want to report potholes on locally owned roads. The Middletown website has a citizen request portal dubbed MTGo here.
