The Lower Southampton Township Police have arrested the same man twice in the past three weeks.

Jason Talerico, 36, allegedly stole hundreds of dollars worth of items from a Feasterville Walgreens last week.

Police found Talerico, of Langhorne, walking along Bustleton Pike shortly after the theft. They say he matched a description of the thief.

Talerico allegedly tried to run from officers. They quickly caught him in the backyard of a nearby home. He had a bag with the stolen items on his person, according to authorities.

A Walgreens employee confirmed Talerico’s identity as the thief and police arrested him.

The Lower Southampton Township Police say these events mirror another incident involving Talerico on May 25.

“Officials can only speculate that Talerico felt his chances for escape were good since these were totally different officers from the ones that captured him from CVS several weeks ago.”

Judge Daniel Baranoski set bail at 10 percent of $25,000. Talerico was unable to post bail and is currently awaiting a preliminary hearing at Bucks County Correctional Facility.
