The department issued a warrant for Trejean Smith’s arrest last Thursday evening when police caught wind of a shooting victim with a leg wound admitted to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital following the incident at 7:45 p.m.

Smith, 16, allegedly seriously injured his victim, also 16, in the parking lot of Creekside Apartments when they planned to exchange drugs. He is charged with aggravated assault,
Carrying a Firearm without a License, and Recklessly Endangering another Person.

Emmanuel Rodriguez, 16, of Bensalem, was arrested as an accomplice last week. Though under-aged, the two will be tried as adults.

Smith is currently being held in Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of 10% of $1,000,000 bail.
