Juvenile Shooting Suspect Sought By Bensalem Police

Bensalem Police are looking for a juvenile suspect in the shooting of a teenager. Police were called on Thursday, October 4th at 7:45 p.m. to Creekside Apartments for the report of possible shots fired in the complex.

During the investigation conducted by the Bensalem police department, it was discovered that a gunshot victim was at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital with a wound to his leg.

The victim was shot during a drug transaction in the parking lot of Creekside Apartments. The shooter, 16-year-old Smith from Bensalem is still at large. 16-year-old Emmanuel Rodriguez, also from Bensalem, was also involved and was identified as a second suspect.

Rodriguez was arrested later the same evening of the incident. He was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, robbery and recklessly endangering another person. Smith is wanted by police for his actions in the assault. A warrant has been issues for Smith’s arrest.
