Habitat for Humanity of Bucks County dedicated their latest home to a single mother in Levittown Wednesday.
Jennifer and her daughter Cameron can now call the house on Holly Drive their forever home.
“We’re providing a solid foundation for Jennifer and Cameron to live out their dreams and aspirations,” said Habitat Bucks’ Board Director President, Karl Schmidt. “We believe everyone deserves a decent place to live,” Schmidt continued.
Jennifer is a working single mom, and originally lived in a one bedroom apartment with her young daughter, Cameron. The apartment was infested with mold and bees, and Jennifer sought out the help of Habitat Bucks to enhance her credit, and explore her options.
Now, Jennifer and Cameron have a brand new home, courtesy of Habitat Bucks, built and
tailored by the community just for them
“This house turned out incredible,” Jennifer said. “I’m not as worried anymore thanks to Habitat. It gives us a place to call home.”
