Gunman Opens Fire Into Group On Wood Street, Suspect Sought By Bristol Police

The Bristol Borough Police are looking for a suspect after a gunman opened fire into a group of people Tuesday evening.

Officers responded at about 5:30 p.m. to the 200 block of Wood Street. The area sits just around the corner from the nearby police station.

Authorities say the gunman got out of his cream colored SUV and fired several rounds into the group. A nine-year-old girl was among the potential victims.

After unloading his weapon, the shooter got back into the vehicle and drove away.

Miraculously, no one was injured.

Detectives questioned local residents about the shooting. They are trying to figure out who was the attempted target.

Police say the suspect is a black male with a slim build. He stands at about 5’10” and has dreadlocks.
