Good news for Eagles fans as SEPTA has announced it will be providing free rides on the Broad Street Line from the Eagles vs. Redskins game Monday night.

In a move not uncommon, but still appreciated, free rides from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m. are aimed to give fans a safe and convenient way home. As kickoff is at 8:15 p.m., this means rides to the Lincoln Financial Field are still their normal price.

SEPTA is also adding trains to the line beginning at 6:05 p.m., at which time the first of 12 express trains running every 10 minutes will take the first passengers to the stadium.

The free-ride-home program is enabled through a partnership with Chase.

“In a few weeks Chase will open its doors on the streets of Philadelphia, and this free night of travel is just one way for us to give back and say thank you for welcoming us to the community,” said Michele Newman-Lawrence, Chase Region Director.
