This week’s Four Paws Doggie Daycare Adoptable Pet of the Week is Ares. She brought energy to the WBCB 1490 studio as she excitedly greeted everyone. Ares is a four-year-old German Shepherd, named after the Greek goddess, Ares. She was brought to the Women’s Humane Society in June because her family was moving. She has lived with children and cats in the past and was great with them. The Women’s Humane Society also reports Ares is good with other dogs. Ares is believed to be healthy but has a mass on her abdomen, which means her adoption fee may be waived if someone is willing to pay for a biopsy.
