New accusers have come forward to allege a Penndel Borough man abused them as children.

Louis Charles Aiello, 57, has been in custody since June for felony charges including two counts of rape of a child. He is one of two men who allegedly abused the same boy at different times two decades ago.

In addition, a second alleged victim says Aiello abused him from 2008 to 2010. The victim was about 14 years old when the abuse started.

Now, four more men have come forward. In total, Aiello faces accusations from six individuals who spoke to authorities separately.

The new accusations come after Bucks County District Attorney Matt Weintraub asked any potential victims of Aiello to step into the light.

“This is a call for victims and witnesses,” said Weintraub in mid-June. He made the request at a press conference announcing charges against Aiello and two other men. “If you or someone you know were victimized by any of these three defendants please come forward and report it. We will help you through this.”

The District Attorney’s Office says one of Aiello’s new accusers went to authorities less than a week later.

This accuser told investigators the abuse occurred back in about 1993 when he was just 10 years old. The victim was at Aiello’s former home in Bensalem with his 14-year-old brother.

Aiello told the boys to take a shower with him, according to prosecutors. While in the shower, Aiello allegedly performed a “sex act.”

Detectives spoke with two more alleged victims in July, then another more recently in September.

The abuse of these three individuals allegedly occurred separately from each other between 1999 and 2005. All were males between seven and nine years old when the abused allegedly began.

One of the accusers told detectives he considered Aiello a “father figure.” Two of them said the abuse continued for about six years each.

“A few months ago, we made a public call for any additional victims of this defendant,” Weintraub said. “It’s bittersweet, but we got what we asked for. I am sad that there are indeed additional victims who are now the basis for this new criminal complaint against this defendant, but grateful and in awe of their courage to come forward to speak their truth against this predator.”

Aiello now faces a litany of felony charges including:

  • felony counts of rape of a child,
  • aggravated indecent assault of a child,
  • involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child,
  • involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a person less than 16 years old,
  • statutory sexual assault,
  • incest, and
  • aggravated indecent assault.

He has a preliminary hearing scheduled for October 30, 2020.
