The Feasterville Business Business Association has announced two winners for its annual scholarship awards.
Both seniors at Neshaminy High School, Daniel S. Cook and Wayne Fairbrother III will receive $1,200 to put towards their educational endeavors. The money was raised during FBA’s annual golf outing.
Cook will attend Penn State University to major in information science and technology. For the past six years, he has been a member of the Boy Scouts of America and recently earned the Eagle Scout designation.
Fairbrother will attend Drexel University and plans to study software engineering. His long list of extracurricular activities include Robotics Club, President’s Scholars Bowl, Political Debate Club and World Affairs Club.
Both winners have volunteered extensively.
Along with the monetary award, the winners will be in the Lower Southampton Township Independence Day Parade on Wednesday, July 4 as part of the FBA’s Belgium horse drawn wagon.
The FBA is in 69th year and has a mission to foster and encourage growth and
progress for the betterment of the community.
