A search for a missing military veteran last seen in Bensalem has sparked sympathy from all through the United States.

The post on Facebook, which has been shared more than 24,000 times as of Tuesday evening.

Dakotah Kurtz, 26, reportedly went missing in the Lower Bucks municipality last week on Dec. 6, according to a Facebook post from family member Michelle Kurtz.

More than 24,000 people have shared the post on Facebook, with some comments saying they are putting the word out all over the country including Florida, Tennessee, and Texas.

“We believe he is with his car, a 2011 Kia Forte EX (4D sedan color: maroon/purple) license #01274EF (veteran’s vanity plate),” Kurtz posted on her page. “He hit a deer recently, so there is front end damage.”

The Bensalem Police also shared on Facebook they received a report about the missing veteran.

Anyone with information should immediately call the Bensalem Township Police at (215) 633-3719. They should also contact any of Kurtz’s family including his father, Rodney Kurtz, or his mother, Jodie Kurtz, also known as Barbara Ellis Ross, on Facebook through the post.
