A Falls Township man is recovering from a bullet wound in his hand inflicted Wednesday morning. Police responded to the scene at a home in Pennwoods Crossing on Anders Drive around 5:30 a.m.
“Upon arrival, the officers found an adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the hand. The male was transported by ambulance to St Mary’s Hospital for care and is expected to survive,” said Lt. Nelson Whitney in a press release Thursday.
The exact nature of the incident is unclear. The Falls Township Police reported finding “multiple firearms and bullet fragments.”
Bucks County Detectives are aiding local officers with the investigation. They provided “a sophisticated crime scene mapping tool.”
Members of Fire Station 30 reportedly helped access a gun safe within the home.
The victim is recovering in St. Mary’s Hospital and should survive.
Detectives will continue the investigation before releasing information or charging any individuals.
