Falls Township and American Red Cross will be hosting a blood drive on Friday, July 20th in the Falls Township Municipal Complex.
The event will take place at the Public Meeting Hall at 188 Lincoln Highway, Suite 100 in Fairless Hills, between the hours of 9:30 AM and 2:30 PM.
American Red Cross is calling on all donors to donate at this time, due to the emergency need for all blood types and current blood shortage. Volunteers may donate whole blood, or certain components such as red cells, platelets or plasma.
According to ARC, approximately 38% of Americans are eligible to donate blood at any given time.
Individuals eligible for donation are at least 17 years old, in good general health, and have not donated blood in the last 56 days. Additional guidelines can be found on the American Red Cross website.
Eligible donors are encouraged to schedule an appointment by visiting redcrossblood.org and entering Falls Township Municipal Complex.
