Mosquito spray will be in the air in Falls, Middletown, and Morrisville Wednesday, weather permitting. (If it rains, spraying will take place Thursday.) The Bucks County Health Department has scheduled an ultra-low volume operation to reduce mosquito populations and prevent the transmission of the West Nile Virus in those communities, beginning at dusk.
The spray is considered to be low in toxicity and should not affect or harm animals or non-target insects, according to the county Department of Health.
Since July 28, Bucks County has received more than seven treatments.
