Counterfeiter Strikes Local Newtown Business

The Newtown Borough Police are asking for the public’s help in trying to catch a counterfeit culprit.

The suspect used a fake $100 bill while Benjamin Franklin looked on in dissapointment at a quarter past 7 p.m. on September 1st at the CVS Pharmacy on South Lincoln Avenue across from the SEPTA station.

Surveillance footage shows an overweight white male with a beard and long hair wearing a white t-shirt and blue baseball cap.
