County health officials have released updated information on where coronavirus cases are concentrated in Bucks County. Overall, most cases are still in Lower Bucks.
Previous maps of the county showed when a municipality had more than 50 cases. Now, a new map has more detailed information.
Bensalem, Bristol Township, and Middletown are the hardest hit with between 150 to 200 cases each. Falls Township and Lower Makefield are next with up to 150 cases each.
In Central Bucks, the average municipality has between 11 and 50 cases. Many municipalities in Upper Bucks have ten or less cases.
The county saw 131 new cases Wednesday for a total of 2,197. Still, 493 people have recovered from coronavirus in Bucks, which is more than one out of five.
Eight people passed away, bringing the number of victims in the county to 118. Most were residents of nursing homes.
