Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick is urging for further action as a result of the Charlottesville protests.
The freshman congressman wrote a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions regarding the recent events in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Fitzpatrick recommended the Administration and the Department of Justice, “Expand the investigation into the horrific events that occurred in Charlottesville, Virginia.”
He also wrote, “How we respond to this incident as a nation is critical…The Administration and the Department of Justice must denounce the events of Charlottesville.”
Fitzpatrick ended his letter by thanking first responders, and emphasizing that Americans must stand together during times of hardship and adversity.
