With the Fourth of July just days away, Bucks County has fun activities for all ages all weekend long. While many municipalities will also have Fourth of July parades, these events are supplemental and can offer the extra experience to make Independence Day complete.
“We’re excited about summer and not only to continue welcoming visitors but to help locals move around the county,” Visit Bucks County President Paul Bencivengo said. “We want to make sure they’re aware of everything there is to do right here in our own backyard.”
Shady Brook Farm in Yardley is offering their Summer UnWINEd concert series this Saturday, Jul. 6. From 5 to 10:30 p.m., people can enjoy Radio Petty, a Tom Petty tribute band, and plenty of fireworks.
Bursts of red and blue (and green) will fill the sky above Sesame Place Thursday night for a special Fourth of July fireworks show. Elmo, Cookie Monster, and other characters will blast music after the Neighborhood Street Party Night Parade at 9 p.m.
The Southampton Days Country Fair is already underway and will run through this Friday, July 5th. The annual event will include rides, games and activities, including an evening fireworks show on July 4th.
Quakertown will be hosting its annual community day on the July 4th holiday. The event features a live car show, live entertainment a parade and an evening fireworks display of their own.
If someone still haven’t gotten their full fireworks fix by the time Friday night rolls around, they should head over to New Hope for fireworks on the Delaware River.
