Neil Simon’s ‘Rumors’ will be presented by the Bucks Drama Club on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights, Dec. 15, 16, and 17 at 7:00 p.m.

The comedy features Myra and Charlie Brooks inviting their friends over in order to celebrate their 10th anniversary. Things turn weird when Myra goes missing and Charley “accidentally” shoots himself in the ear. The humor grows stronger as all of the guests are complicit in covering up events that none of them really understand.

“Rumors” is directed by Maia Van Valkenburgh of Pineville. The ensemble cast is all student members of the college’s Drama Club, which perform on stage each semester. The cast this time features Wade Polster of Yardley, Clare Hanrahan and Derek Esplin both of New Hope, and Gia Folino of Bensalem.

The performance will take place in the Kevin and Zima Zlock Performing Arts Center, which can be found inside the Gateway building on the Newtown campus, located at 275 Swamp road.

Tickets are being sold $12 for adults and $10 for children. They can be purchased online at www.bucks.edu/tickets or at the box office. Parking for the event will be free.
