All public schools in Bucks County will be closed Thursday, September 2, 2021.

The closures are directly a result of the storms Wednesday night. Statements from districts throughout the county cite the decision comes in consultation with the Bucks County Emergency Management Agency.

Several school districts have not made individual announcements. However, several authorities including the Morrisville Borough Police Department indicate it was a county-wide decision.

“Due to the weather conditions and flooding in our area all Bucks County Public Schools will be closed tomorrow September 2, 2021.”

Bucks County Community College will be closed as well.

“For Thursday, September 2nd: In-person day classes are canceled & all campuses will remain closed due to flooding & other hazards. Remote classes will continue as scheduled. We will evaluate conditions during the day & issue follow-up guidance on the status of Thursday evening classes.”
