The Bristol Wardogs 6U Little Tykes have the opportunity to head to Florida for a National Championship title. But they need help from the community to pay for the trip.

With the help of Coach Donald Crawley Sr., the Wardogs earned the NESAC Championship in dramatic fashion. They beat a strong Philadelphia team, the Oxford Circle Raiders, 33-32 after splitting wins in the regular season.

“It was unbelievable,” Crawley said. The victory was even sweeter as the Raiders had beat them in the championship game last year.

Now, they are in Plant City, Florida. A Go Fund Me page is currently live with a $10,000 goal to support the team’s travel and equipment costs. It has raised $2,455 as of Sunday afternoon.

For the players, who are 6 years old and younger, spring training began this past April. Their hard work, combined with a passionate coaching staff, have propelled them to success.

“I would like to thank their parents as well for sticking it out for the long season,” Crawley said. “But these kids deserve everything they get.”

As the players are so young, Crawley is looking forward to the kids having a bright future together. But first, the Bristol Wardogs Little Tykes look to win a National Championship in Florida.
