A Bristol woman almost literally bet it all Thursday night to emerge victorious on the 6abc show “Jeopardy!” SEPTA employee Meghan Schulz won more than $27,000 after responding correctly to the Final Jeopardy question.
Schulz trailed contestant J.B. Evan by only $400 going into Final Jeopardy, with Female Singers as the category. In the final bet, she boldly placed $13,190 of her $14,000 on the line.
To finish strong, she answered “Mariah Carrey to the prompt: “In the 1990s this New York native had 8 of her first 10 Billboard Top 40 hits reach No. 1.”
In an interview, Schulz said she had dreamed of competing on the show since being a child. She was ecstatic to have the opportunity to appear.
