Police in Lower Bucks are warning residents to keep their cars locked after a series of thefts from vehicles.
The Newtown Township Police responded to several reports Friday, Feb 28. The department says thieves targeted vehicles near Wiltshire Walk, Kirkwood and Claire Drive.
Police are asking anyone in the area who has a security camera to review their tape. If residents see anything relevant, they can reach out to the department at 215-325-8524.
“As always,” said the Newtown Police, “we remind everyone to lock your cars and remove all valuables!”
In Bensalem, police say a single suspect is responsible for a series of thefts over the past week. Multiple home surveillance cameras caught the male suspect tugging on car doors.
“The suspect is described as a possible white male, wearing the same backpack and switches from a gray sweatshirt with dark stripes on the shoulders to a gray/olive green winter jacket with black patches on the shoulders, forearms and pockets.”
