Bucks County Community College will host an open house for prospective students and their parents this Saturday, October 13th, at the BCCC Newtown campus.
Representatives from seven academic departments, including professors, will be available to answer questions and provide information at the event. Officials from the college’s financial aid and student services departments will also be on hand.
Director of Admissions Marlene Barlow says the semiannual open house is a great opportunity to learn how Bucks can help you reach your educational goals.
“People may be surprised to learn that we’re a competitive choice among college options,” said Barlow. “We continue to strive for improvements both physically and academically, from adding a new science building to introducing new programs to match career opportunities.”
The open house will take place in the Linksz Pavilion, between the Rollins Center and the Gymnasium. The event will begin at 11:00 A.M. and run until 1:00 P.M.
Student-led tours around the campus — including visits to the Arts Department studios and science labs — will be available to attendees, along with light refreshments and an appearance from the Centurion mascot, Brutus.
