A fire displaced several residents of the Orangewood Apartments early Sunday morning.

The blaze completely destroyed one apartment and caused damage to others. According to reports, no one was inside the home when the fire started.

Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito said there were no injuries to firefighters or civilians, and the cause is still under investigation.

Two good Samaritans, described as males, knocked on neighbors doors prior the fire department’s arrival. Dippolito is asking those men to contact him at 267-812-2907.

The evacuated occupants were provided temporary housing by the American Red Cross or through relatives.
